Got into Salt Lake City yesterday afternoon. Don't deliver until this morning. Noticed on the drive in that people from this area were reveling in the winter weather they have been having. Got caught laset year west of Denver, Colorado and had to put chains on the big truck to get across Vail. I called my night dispatcher and told him I didn't understand how anybody could enjoy this weather. He had reservations for the following week and was delighted they were getting fresh snow.

How's the Weather??
Newbie for this type of post. Trying to find a way to keep my family and friends informed of where I am and what I'm doing. Will be posting photos of various areas I have seen across our great country. From main interstates to the smaller side roads that we sometimes have to travel. Hope to give better understanding of how the trucking industry effects our economy in their day to day lives. So when I get on a rant about trucking problems, I'm not just concerned with the trucking industry, but how this will effect my family and friends at home. In Wyoming today and headed West. Have spent most of morning checking out the road conditions for my expected travel today and the weather back home (Marshfield, Missouri). So far we still have power at our house, but so many don't. My prayers are with them as they struggle through these hard times. The sun is up and I need to be moving on. Til next time
